WALC Work Days

WALC need more people to become involved, so,
if you enjoy the Commons, please come along and volunteer
to be on the committee and/or join our working groups.
It doesn't take up too much time, and you would be helping to preserve
the Commons for the good of local residents and wildlife.

WALC Talks & Walks

All our talks are in Wadsley Church Hall, Worrall Rd. S6 4BA at 7.30pm
Free refreshments, which usually include
delicious home made cake, and a cup of tea or coffee.

Halloween Ghost Walk!
Scary stories on the Common with The Werewolf of Wadsley!

Prize for best children's fancy dress
Children please bring an adult.
Walk takes about 1.5hours and is circular
so you can return to the car park at any time.
The walk goes over uneven ground and it's dark on the Common.
Meet at 6pm at Rural Lane Car Park.


Monday Nov 12th 2018
The AGM,
followed by a talk from Alan Bailey and
John Robinson about the work and activities
undertaken by WALC in the last 25 years. 

Entrance fee £3.00 members, £3.50 visitors, 
includes refreshments and home made cake. 
7.30pm, Wadsley Church Hall, Worrall Road, S6 4BA.

with Humble Swain and Bow Jest String Quartet!

Come along for a good sing with 
Traditional and Local Carols.
